The President stressed the value of partnerships as a means of bolstering Nigerian and African democracies. In his remarks to the US Congressional delegation, President Tinubu emphasized the need of working with Nigeria to promote the development of its people.

The President who commended Africa for being blessed with numerous resources, argue that the same resources is causing conflicts because of exploitation and a lack of alignment. He also added that we cannot use our past experience to address the current situation.

He urged the America to look into the situation of Africa critically. He also mentioned some African countries such as Burkina Faso, Mali, and Niger where it’s citizens are despondency because they are not helped economically.

According to a reliable news source from Daily Post, the President said, “Nigeria, as the giant of Africa, had suffered leadership elephantiasis years back. I am determined to change that. Adhering to the principles of democracy and the rule of law is very important to us. I wonder how democracy will survive if we do not fight for it. I fought for this democracy. I risked my life for it. Military truncation of democracy is unacceptable. The power of our citizens is and must remain supreme”
