Rollas 'I Learnt That A Day Before Junior Pope Died, They Went On The Waters Without Life Jackets'Prior to the death of well-known Nollywood actor Junior Pope, the President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria [AGN], Emeka Rollas Ejezie, raised concerns about safety protocols on set. He disclosed that a lawsuit is being contemplated in reaction to the current incidents around Junior Pope’s passing. He emphasized that in order to hold Adanma Luke Production and the Association of Movie Producers accountable for the circumstances leading up to the actor’s murder, this legal action will require confronting them.

Following the death of Popular Nollywood Actor, Junior Pope, the AGN President instructed that no member should work with Adanma Luke, the producer of the movie titled ‘Another Side of Life’ which the crew members were going to before losing their lives.

In the same way, the Association of Movie Producers [AMP] has also declared the suspension of Adanma Luke pending the submission of an investigation report to find out what happened in that boat mishap. However, Adanma Luke in a video that circulated online has claimed that Junior Pope was given a life jacket which he rejected and said it was dirty.

He said in an interview with Arise TV, ”Our lawyers are already preparing documents because this matter is actionable. I’m only waiting for the small committee that we have set up to give me the report on all the things that happened.

I learnt that a day before Junior Pope died, they went on the waters without life jackets. At least the video that Junior Pope showed everybody on Instagram, people on that boat wearing life jackets. So I’m waiting for this report. And as soon as I get the report, our lawyers will take action.
