Wike insulted Peter Odili, his wife cause they refused to back his attempt to impeach Fubara -According to Sekibo

PDP chairman in Rivers State, Abiye Sekibo, has discussed the conflicts between outgoing Governor Nyesom Wike and his replacement, Governor Siminalayi Fubara. CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

Sekibo claimed that Wike insulted former Governor Peter Odili and his wife, Justice Mary Peter Odili, in a video that Channels TV recently posted on YouTube because they declined to back his attempts to remove Fubara from office. Concerning Wike’s appointment as Minister of the FCT, he too voiced his doubts. He claimed that Wike may abuse his position as minister for the Federal Capital Territory and that his time as governor was marred by power abuse.

In Sekibo’s words: “He (Wike) insulted former Governor Peter Odili and his wife Justice Mary Peter Odili because they refused to back his failed attempts to unjustifiably impeach the duly elected governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara. We have nothing against President Tinubu compensating Nyesom Wike with the office of the Minister of the FCT, however, we owe the president a duty to explain some facts and advise him on the character and machinations of his appointee. We wish to let the president know that this appointee ran a Kleptocratic government when he reigned supreme as governor of Rivers and may do the same in FCT if the president looks the other way”
