The PDP’s Senator Maeba Lee, who is well-known in Rivers State, has discussed the conflicts that exist between Governor Siminalayi Fubara and former Governor Nyesom Wike. Lee accused Wike of trying to maintain power over the state after his two terms as governor, analogous to a “third term” scenario, in a video that Arise TV just posted on YouTube. He begged Wike to step down and let Fubara govern Rivers State on his own. Rivers, he claimed, belonged to its people and cannot be governed by a single person.
