According to some of them, who spoke to Daily Sun, they upgraded to Yahoo Plus, which involves despicable rituals, when the regular Yahoo no longer paid them well.
They confessed that herbalists prepared them portions, charms, and other items with which to make money by diabolic.
Nearly all of them disclosed that they went into the vice because of the lavish lifestyles of their mates in the neighbourhood. They too wanted to live large.
One of them, simply identified as John, said:
“A friend of mine took me to an Alfa to do some prayers and to check if I will be able to go into Yahoo Plus. Then the Alfa told me to do some things and then come back after three days. He gave me a hand bead to wear and promised me that I will cash out after some weeks. I did as the Alfa told me.”
He admitted that he made a huge amount of money after that and has been renewing his bead for even more money ever since then.
According to him, with the money he has been making, he takes care of my family, pays for his and his siblings education, and supports parents, adding that if he hadn’t got into Yahoo plus, he would still be struggling by now.
Interestingly, John’s confession of consulting spiritualists for rituals to make money was a recurring denominator in the stories that all the youths who spoke with Daily Sun.
In doing so, they have had to perform queer rituals involving bizarre materials. In exchange for the materials they give to the spiritualists, they get materials like soaps, paints, rings, bangles, wrist bands, and so on.
For instance, another young man, identified simply as Tunde, who said he went into Yahoo Plus when the regular Yahoo stopped paying well, narrated how another Yahoo guy, who he approached, took him to a pastor for ritual prayers.
He said in part:
“Then he took us to the pastor, and he did the same thing for us.
“However, after some months we were not making money like before, so we decided to go back to the pastor. When we got there, the pastor asked us if we had girlfriends, to which we replied, yes. He said our problem was solved, if we could use our girlfriends. He instructed us to have sex with our girlfriends and bring back the condom we used in having sex with them. We did as the pastor said and we were making money from our clients again, but the pastor also said we should break up with them and every week we should have sex with different sets of girls to make more money.”
The country has witnessed an escalation of the vice in recent years with lots of young boys of school age getting involved.
It’s not uncommon to find in nearly every neighbourhood teenagers today, who have no traceable source of income, living very extravagant lifestyles. They ride expensive and exotic cars, wear expensive fashion items, live in posh neighbourhoods, host expensive parties, attend exclusive nightclubs, have ladies that the lavish money on at their beck and call, and many such things.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
