EFCC chairman vows saying “I will resign if I do not put former governor Yahaya Bello on trial”

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Chairman, Ola Olukoyede, has offered his opinion on the money laundering charges levied against Yahaya Bello, the former governor of Kogi State. CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

The former governor will face charges of money laundering, embezzlement, and breach of trust, according to the EFCC, which has announced its plan to charge him.

However, in a video posted by TVC News, Olukoyede stated that the ex-governor wouldn’t have been declared wanted if he had not evaded a peaceful arrest.

Furthermore, the EFCC boss swore to bring Yahaya Bello to book and ensure that justice is duely served, even if it will cost him his job.

According to the video, “I don’t mind the outcome of this case, but the right thing must be done. I won’t have any moral right to accuse anyone of corruption in Nigeria; I will resign.”.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
