All those who got excited about military take over in Guinea, others are no longer excited- According to Aigbe

According to Austin Aigbe, a political analyst and international election observer, many who rejoiced when the military seized control in Guinea, Burkina Faso, and Mali are no longer thrilled. According to Aigbe, when challenged for not living up to the reasons it was established, the military regimes in such nations are now repressing opinions. He said: “As I speak to you now, the narrative has changed in Guinea. All of those folks who ran on the street, getting excited that the military took over are now back to square one. They are no longer excited. Burkina Faso is worse. If you criticize the regime of Traore, the military president, that you talked about security challenges as a basis for taking over, now we are worse off. What’s happening? They will say ok, no problem. They will give you a gun, arm you and say go and fight it. They are now suppressing views. So people are no longer speaking. Is that the excitement on the day they took over? No.”
