He stated that, assuming he lives, Bola Tinubu is the most likely candidate to win the presidency in 2027. With this conviction, Okupe stated that he has opted out of playing the role of opposition, indicating his support for Tinubu’s potential presidency. He stated that he has retired from party politics and has decided to remain an elder statesman of the country.
