Shehu Sani lists what Senator Ningi will miss Following of his 3 months suspension

According to The Nation, Senator Abdul Ningi of Bauchi Central was placed on leave by the Senate on Tuesday for a three-month period. This was in reaction to claims that N3 trillion had been added to the 2024 budget, and a number of senators who had contributed to the discussion backed the demand for suitable sanctions against Ningi. In response to this revelation, former Kaduna senator Shehu Sani stated what Senator Ningi will lose from his suspension on his verified Twitter account. Sani claims that unless the suspension is lifted, he will not be able to visit his workplace or get compensation.

Specifically, during his three-month suspension, Senator Ningi will not be permitted to attend plenary sessions or participate in committee meetings or oversight functions. Additionally, all salary and allowances will be blocked, and he is expected not to be seen within the premises of the National Assembly until his suspension has been lifted.
