Kayode Johnson, popularly known as “Baddoo,” is a suspect who the police recently paraded. He is charged with the murder of a police officer in Ogun State. The police spokesperson, Muyiwa Adejobi, claims that Johnson is the head of an armed robbery group that operates in the Ikorodu-Ijebu area. In a live coverage by Symfoni TV, Adejobi pointed to Johnson and warned the public about him and other criminals. He emphasized that the police are determined to bring justice to those who harm officers and security agents. Adejobi stressed that Johnson represents the type of criminals who terrorize the Ikorodu-Ijebu area and that the police have arrested many like him. He made it clear that the police will not tolerate attacks on their personnel and will go after anyone who threatens their safety.
Adejobi also warned that the police will work with international authorities like Interpol to catch those who flee the country after committing crimes.
