According to reports, this decision taken by the Lagos government was due to the fact that the complex was a distressed one and would collapse in no time.
In reaction to this, Nurudeen, who is counsel to the victims, has questioned where it is written in the law of Lagos State that a structure can be demolished within 24 hours.
In a video posted by Channels Television, Yusuf Nurudeen said, “We were surprised that after we served the order of court on them, we got a 24-hour notice to come and demolish.
