In a video shared on YouTube by Channels TV, Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s former presidential candidate, addressed the issue in a press conference. Obi emphasized his track record of leaving behind $150 million and 30 billion naira without being forced to do so when he left office as governor. He also disclosed that he attended a meeting where Oparah’s allegation against Abure was discussed and he appealed to both of them to resolve the issue
