He argued that is important for the Federal Government to avoid being misled amid the crisis in the state. He cautioned against repeating historical crises akin to those experienced in the 1960s and 1983, where the Federal High Court and the police were manipulated by individuals close to the Federal Government.

He said in an interview with Channels TV, ”The Federal government needs to understand that these people that are claiming to be working for the Federal Government are actually fighting for their own interest. These people are fighting for political survival in Rivers State, they are not working for Tinubu.
