Wike And The Lawmakers Are Not Members Of PDP, They Declared War On The Party -According to Ikenga UgochinyereIkenga Ugochinyere, a member of the House of Representatives representing Ideato Federal Constituency, has claimed that Nyesom Wike, the minister of the Federal Capital Territory, and the 27 lawmakers from Rivers State who defected are no longer members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) because they have publicly expressed their disapproval of the party through their actions.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

He stated that this shift in allegiance from the FCT Minister underscores the challenges the party faces from within and outside its ranks. He noted that the party’s focus has shifted towards safeguarding its existing assets and members against these internal aggressions.

He said in an interview with Channels TV, ”The lawmakers moved into another party, they changed all the laws and they were amending laws to make sure the party does not survive in Rivers state. Including making attempts to impeach the governor.

There will be no intervention, the line has been clearly drawn on this particular matter. You also have a former governor who has benefitted immensely from the party. The party gave him the enormous platform to reach the height he is today.

But he decided to work for the ruling party and he doesn’t want the party to survive as well. So there cannot be any intervention. Wike and the lawmakers are not members of the PDP, they have declared war on the party. So what we can do is to protect what we have.”CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
