Fubara:Chibike Ikenga, He Is Interested In Dividing The State Into 2 Groups, the 'They' and the 'We'

Chibike Ikenga, the Publicity Secretary of the APC Caretaker Committee in Rivers State, has spoken his opinions amid the current crisis in the state. He said that Governor Sim Fubara was trying to divide Rivers State into “they” and “we,” two groups that he felt would obstruct efforts to bring about peace. Ikenga used the governor’s proscription of legislators and chairmen of local government as proof of this aim of division. According to, “I’m not a supporter of the governor, but as the governor of the State, you must be fair to everyone, whether they are in your party or support you or not. You are the governor of the entire state, including those who are against you and those who support you, so you must make decisions according to your oath of office. Fairness must be upheld at all times, but the governor seems unwilling to adhere to these principles.
