Public affairs analyst Oribhabor Roy has advocated for a diplomatic settlement to the political dispute between former Rivers State governor Wike and governor Siminalayi Fubara. CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

According to him, Wike’s duties as Minister of the Federal Capital Territory have been diverted by the feud. Roy claimed that Wike is clearly disturbed by juggling multiple topics at once in an interview with Silverbird TV that was posted on YouTube. He claimed that most Nigerians would concur that Wike is not giving his ministerial responsibilities due attention. He likened Wike’s predicament to someone attempting to “chase two rats at the same time” in a symbolic manner.

In Roy’s words: “Wike can’t be omnipresent, you see his face in Rivers and see him in FCT, it clearly shows he is distracted. The president should as a matter of urgency look at it.
