Yar'Adua said he wanted to give me something but did not know if I would accept it -According to Tafida

Former ambassador to the United Kingdom, Senator Dalhatu Sarki Tafida, has said that when Yar’Adua took government, he told him he had something to offer, but he wasn’t sure if he would accept it or not. CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

Tafida stated in an interview with Daily Trust TV that he informed Yar’Adua that he would accept anything as long as it came with respect because he was confident the late President would not offer him anything inferior. He reiterated his belief that Yar’Adua was sincere, saying that their good rapport gave him hope that any offer wouldn’t just be an effort to keep him quiet. He revealed this information and gave a description of it when discussing his nomination as an ambassador under Yar’Adua.

I said If it is from him I will accept it because I know he would not give me anything just because he wants to shut my mouth up.
