The head of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has issued a severe warning about the political climate in Rivers State, according to a news article published by Nigerian Tribune. In a statement delivered by his media assistant, Ayodele reaffirmed Wike’s firm opposition to Fubara and counseled the sitting governor to act right now to preserve his position. He warned Fubara against misleading attempts at mediation, claiming that Wike’s power in the House of Assembly presents a serious danger to Fubara’s authority.
Drawing parallels to the conflict between Israel and Gaza, Ayodele likened Wike’s determination to seize power to the relentless pursuit of the Israelites. He asserted that Wike mirrors the resolve of Israel’s prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, in his quest to eliminate Fubara from the political arena.
