Siminalayi Fubara, the current governor of Rivers State, may have made the decision to retaliate when he insisted that, despite his decision to remain silent in the face of those he perceived as mature but immature in their outlook, he would not hesitate to battle against injustice. He continued by saying that he respects President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, which is why he chose to carry out the deal that was made in Abuja. In a video that was uploaded on Symfoni’s YouTube page, he said he would surprise people who thought his admiration for the President was a sign of weakness.

Siminalayi Fubara had said, “Maturity is not about age, maturity is in person; I choose not to respond to people that are assumed that are mature but immature in attitude. I will continue to be mature not minding my age, but I would not for any reason allow myself or anybody who is working with me in this administration to be played with, maltreated or abused in the cause of administering this governance. We are a government who believes and understands the feeling of our people, our policies and our support will always go to you.”
