Falana stated in an interview carried by Sahara TV that the Dangote refinery is expected to receive 445,000 barrels of crude oil from the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPCL) for refining for local consumption. According to him, the NNPCL has not made it known in the open whether or not Dangote is receiving these barrels for processing. Falana emphasized that by holding the government accountable, Nigerians can help improve the economy and reduce poverty. He stressed that Nigeria should not be struggling with poverty given its resources, and better management could help the country thrive.

In Falana’s words: “Why is Dangote company importing crude oil from America, what has happened to our own? 445,000 barrels of crude oil are dedicated for domestic consumption, what happened to that policy?
