In an interview with Seun Okinbaloye on Mic On Podcast, Okonkwo revealed that during the legal proceedings, they utilized the INEC Result Viewing (IReV) portal to gather crucial evidence. He said through this portal, they were able to calculate and show that they had emerged victorious in the presidential election in Benue and Rivers States, however, despite the compelling evidence presented via the IReV portal, the court deemed it inadmissible. He said the reason cited was that the evidence had been submitted by a subpoenaed witness after the specified deadline of 21 days.
In Okonkwo’s words: “When we went to Court, by IReV portal we were able to show that we won the election in Rivers and Benue State but they said it was not admissible because it came by a subpoenaed witness which brought its evidence after the 21 days”
