When NASS summoned the Labour leaders, they were asking how their new jeeps were functioning- According to FalanaFemi Falana, SAN, a human rights attorney, has revealed what the leaders of the Trade Union Congress (TUC) and the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) told the national assembly during their recent meeting to end the impasse over the demand for a new minimum wage.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

Falana stated in a Sahara Reporters TV interview that the Labour leaders wanted to know how the new jeeps the lawmakers had purchased for roughly ₦150 million were running. According to him, the Labour leaders were subtly conveying to the lawmakers that although they are urging them to tighten their belts, their tummies are bulging because they are consuming systemic fat.

His words: “When members of the leadership of the national assembly summoned the Labour leaders, I was told that it was a very interesting experience. Because the Labour leaders were asking the leaders of the legislative houses how their new jeeps were functioning. $150,000 per piece. They were also asking when are you commencing the constituency projects.”
