According to a report by Channels, the official Governor of Rivers State has ordered the state’s citizens to put an end to the protests organized by those vying to hold the position of elder. “When I was running for governor, I was invited that some elders want to see me, when I got there I saw only 2 people. Just 2 of them constituted themselves as elders over the whole state. Now they’ve come back again as elders, don’t mind them.”
Wike also warned the people of the state not to get involved in political feuds they have little knowledge on.
