In a recent interview with Channels Television, Ahmad Yerima said: “When I announced I was going to do Sharia, even Mr. President Obasanjo and the International Community (IC) were worried. I told them, Look, I was elected under the 1999 Constitution, and I cannot do anything outside of it.
