As reported by Channels Television, Femi Adesina made these statements during an appearance on Channels Television’s Politics Today program, following the launch of his book in Abuja.
While he was talking, he said, “He appointed someone from Katsina State, Lawan Daura to replace Ita Ekpeyong. When he called me and said announce this new DSS DG. I told him, I said Mr President, people are beginning to complain about the lopsided appointments.
You removed a man from South-South geopolitical zone, why do not you replace him with another man from South-South zone?”
Adesina claimed that Muhammadu Buhari took took time to explain to him that before he makes any appointment, a committee is set up to search for the most qualified person for the position, and they will recommend three people in most cases.
Further talking, he said that Muhammadu Buhari told him that if he bypasses who is number one because of his tribe, his ethnicity, his religion, or because of his language, then Allah would judge him. CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
