In an interview with Arise Television, Omoyele Sowore discussed his thoughts on the ongoing drama in Ondo State following the death of their governor and the necessity of physically seeing Akeredolu’s body in order to determine whether or not the governor passed away before the news of his passing was made public. “She met with certain House of Assembly members a week ago, and now we learn tonight that Akeredolu didn’t pass away in Germany. They are all deceiving the public into believing he did; perhaps they intended to use this as an excuse to siphon off more state funds.

“Everything is a lie now; we might have to demand to see Akeredolu’s body physically to be sure that he hasn’t died a long time ago and been buried before they came up to announce it, because basically what his wife, son, and the political cabal in Ondo State were doing was just using his vulnerable condition to take out their greed on the state by forging signatures.
