Hezbollah Suffers Heavy Losses in Deadly Day of Battle with Israel

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) says they attacked a group of Hezbollah operatives in Yaroun, a village close to the Israeli border, after detecting three rocket launches from Lebanon toward northern Israel. Hezbollah, a terrorist organization in Lebanon, claimed that nine of its fighters had died in Israeli attacks on Thursday, making it one of the group’s worst days since October 8. This news further heightened tensions between Hezbollah and Israel.

In response, Hezbollah fired 11 missiles at Israeli military positions and civilian areas, claiming to have inflicted casualties on the Israeli side. The IDF said it intercepted six of the missiles and reported no injuries.
