Yusuf claimed in a recent Arise TV broadcast that even senior officials, including ministers, chiefs of staff, and other service leaders, cannot leave their hometowns unprotected after retirement. He emphasized that people should basically go back to their communities and try to solve the issues there.
In Yusuf’s words: “Some Chiefs of Army Staff, Ministers after retirement can’t go home without big black guns. We are all IDPs in Abuja, we must go back home and fix our land and only us can do it, not the military, but us.
