He asserts that heads of all the departments and ministries in charge of overseeing and allocating funds are members of a particular ethnic group who are purportedly connected to President Tinubu. This claim was made by Yusuf during an interview with Arise TV. In addition, he claimed that the president had been secretly transferring important MDAs from Abuja to Lagos and moving important government agencies to the advantage of his ethnic group.
In Yusuf’s words: “All department and ministries that control and disburse money, Tinubu has given it to people of his ethnic group. And he is sneakily moving major MDAs back to Lagos. The excuse or reason they are telling us is congestion. The Federal Capital was moved from Lagos to Abuja one of the biggest reasons was congestion in Lagos and the centrality of Abuja”.
