The manager of Bayern Munich, Vincent Kompany, has given a warning to those who said that his role at Bayern was not as important as his. The former Belgium international reminded his detractors that anything is possible in life by sharing his life story. Speaking to the media following Bayern Munich’s 9–2 rout of Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League on Tuesday, Kompany reminded his detractors that, as a player, he would normally have no chance of succeeding because he is a refugee from the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
