He revealed that the majority of customers and sponsors of Nigeria’s illegal oil theft are foreign nations. He said in an interview with TVC, ”The buyers and most of the sponsors of Oil theft are foreigners. The DSS has intelligence on the buyers of our stolen crude oil, they know the countries. There was a time when you can’t take stolen crude oil to Ghana because Ghana water and Lomé water seemed to be the channel where four vessels receive product by smaller tanker vessels and then proceed to sell to outside countries.
