Tinubu's Aide Responds To Tweet Accusing Tinubu Of Approving Hajj Subsidy And Unapproving Student Loan

In response to a tweet criticizing President Bola Ahmed of authorizing the 24 billion Hajj Subsidy but not the five billion student loan, the office of the Special Assistant to the President has responded. Responding to that, Dada Olusegun said there is no such thing as “unapproved” for students loan as the slight delay in the launch of the scheme was a result of President Tinubu’s insistence that vocational students be included, which led to adjustments in the infrastructural provisions that were in place.

 

Reacting further, the SA on social media, said the scheme remains one of the president’s legacy programs that will liberate Nigeria’s education system and make life easy for poor students as they will get equal access to quality education at any university of their choice, including foreign based institution that will be licensed to operate within the country.
