The Atalanta Winger was brilliant against the Bafana Bafana as he won the Super Eagles several free-kicks, got them in good positions, but was too wasteful and lacked the decisiveness in front of goal which costed the Findi George’s men dearly in the attack.

Paul Onuachu

Despite the 30-year-old being the most fouled player on the pitch he was largely ineffective in the centre role for the Super Eagles and was kept on his back foot coupled with his lack of aerial prowess which saw him lose the most duels in the match, Findi George should have started a more dynamic striker like Victor Boniface.
