The Oluwo of Iwo in Osun State, Oba Abdur-rosheed Akanbi, is praised by the present president for taking “unprecedented steps” to promote the country’s growth, despite the hardship and resentment that some people have expressed as a result, according to the Vanguard article. He asserts that people who are against these reforms are trying to undermine the administration by hoarding food while denying the reality of the current economic climate.
