Emeka Rollas, the president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, expressed her sincere gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for helping renowned actor Zack Orji recover after his recent trip to the UK for post-operative evaluation. According to Punch, Rollas thanked President Tinubu for his considerate action over the well-being of Nollywood actor Zack Orji in a social media message posted by Femi Durojaiye, the Guild’s Senior Special Adviser and Media/Press Secretary. Zack, who is a former Guild President, recently traveled out of the country for a post-surgery assessment.

Acknowledgments were also extended to Senator Oluremi Tinubu, Nigeria’s First Lady, for her nurturing concern toward the veteran actor. Seyi Tinubu, Tinubu’s son, was also appreciated for his unwavering support.

Additionally, recognition was given to Uju Kennedy, the Minister for Women Affairs, and Orji’s friend, Ahmed Bala, for their persistent dedication in aiding Orji’s recovery and standing by him throughout the challenging period.

Part of the statement reads, “We have witnessed the unprecedented support that President Tinubu is giving to the creative industry.”

“This has clearly shown his determination to uplift the sector to be more relevant and beneficial to both the practitioners and the national economy, and we find it necessary to appreciate him.”
