According to Akunna, the Obaze committee utilized the insertion of Satan into the case as evidence to accuse Emefiele of lying.

In Chuks Akunna’s words in an interview in a video (1:18:58), he disclosed saying, “Given the way Nigeria is, I tweeted somewhere that this investigation is going to get to a point where people will say off your mic because of the calibre of persons. Look at now, the immediate past SGF has been joined to this controversy, and we saw what the Obaze committee, in fact, they (the Obaze committee) more or less told Emefiele that you lied because Emefiele brought Satan into the matter. When he was on trial, when he was defending himself, he brought Satan into his defence, saying that it was a satanic allegation, but we saw the pushback by the Obaze committee.” CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
