The Nigerian Army has detained the soldier who chastised Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for ordering the arrest of his colleague and three other motorcycle riders who were traveling against traffic on the Lagos-Badagry Expressway, according to Chief of Army Staff Lt Gen. According to Punch, Lagbaja expressed the Army’s dissatisfaction with the soldier’s behavior, stating that it goes against the discipline of the force. Addressing journalists on Tuesday in Enugu regarding the soldiers’ conduct, Lagbaja mentioned that the implicated soldiers have been detained, and an investigation is underway concerning others who may have acted similarly.

In his words, “I want to say that the soldier that was apprehended by the governor of Lagos State while playing on a one way, does not represent the Nigerian Army because, in every respect, it contravenes what we stand for which is discipline as an Army and the constitution and the laws of Lagos state.” CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
