According to Jibril Abdallah, one of the kidnapped victims at Unguwar Liman in the Gwadda community of the Igabi Local Government area of Kaduna, the bandit leader issued a strong warning against the bandits abducting females and emphasizing that doing so would result in severe consequences, including death. He clarified that the primary goal of bringing women to the bush was to facilitate ransom collection from their families, not for any form of sexual abuse, and stated that the bandit leader specifically directed those with such desires to seek such activities in local brothels outside the forest.
