The baby has since been handed over to her parents after they positively identified her — According to SP Benjamin Hundeyin

The incident took place in the Shomolu Local Government Area of Lagos State on February 3, 2024, at around two in the morning. Thankfully, the housekeeper was eventually located in Ikorodu; however, she had already sold the infant.

According to a recent update shared on Twitter, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, after about two days of intense investigation the buyers of the baby became scared decided to abandon her at the Alade Market on Shomolu Local Government Area of Lagos Statement, where she was found and rescued by the police before being handed to her parents.

SP Hundeyin, however, said that the police will still continue to look for the buyer, who’s identity wad not disclosed and is currently on the run. CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
