Jessica, a former follower of the late pastor TB Joshua, claimed in a video released by BBC News Africa that the abuse and rape had gotten out of hand. She added that while some individuals had spoken out and attempted to expose the pastor, no one had taken any notice. He used to touch her inappropriately, she said, and the day she got the guts to denounce him, he started punching her, kicking her in the stomach, and called her a liar when he realized she had been talking to people about him.
