Following the release of data online that showed Nigeria’s economy throughout the previous 15 years under the leadership of Presidents Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, Muhammadu Buhari, and Bola Ahmed Tinubu, social media users had a variety of opinions. In the post titled “Nigeria’s economy in 15 years”, the Goodluck Ebele Jonathan’s administration recorded $369.0 billion, $414.09 billion, $460.95 billion, $514.96 billion, $568.49 billion from 2010-2014.

The Muhammadu Buhari’s administration took over in 2015 and left office in 2023. Within the 8 years rule, the administration recorded $492.43bn, $404.64bn, $375.74bn, $421.73bn, $448.12bn, $429.42bn, $441.42bn, and $477.37bn.

However, the present administration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu has now recorded $374.94bn and $252.73bn from 2023-2024.
