In a video shared on Daily Post’s platform, Igboho urged Yorubas to take decisive action to reclaim control over their Southwest homeland. He emphasized that Tinubu should not solely bear the blame for the nation’s challenges, asserting that during Buhari’s tenure, he advocated for unity and liberation from hardship.
Expressing frustration at Yoruba elders’ inaction, Igboho contrasted the situation with that of the Igbo community who, he claimed, successfully ousted Fulani herders from their lands. He urged Yorubas to emulate their example, reclaim their farmlands, and restore prosperity. Igboho’s remarks underscore growing sentiments of dissatisfaction with prevailing economic and security conditions in Nigeria, particularly within the Yoruba community.
According to The Nation News, He said in part: “Many people think Tinubu destroyed the government, Tinubu didn’t destroy the government.
“My pain with Yorubas is that while Buhari was in power, I was shouting that we should come together and liberate ourselves from this suffering. Buhari has nothing to offer us.
“My pain is that some Yoruba elders are now are complaining, saying they want to hold protest that they are hungry, have you seen any Igbo complaining? They have sent all Fulanis out of their lands and they are farming, doing what they want with their lands.
