In a report by Punch, Gift Okpara, also known as 2 Baba, the prime suspect in Angbashim’s murder, is believed to have been killed during a raid on his hideout by joint security operatives in Idu-Ekpeye, Rivers State. The raid, which occurred on Saturday afternoon, involved both land and aerial operations. According to a senior police source, 2 Baba sustained severe gunshot wounds during the raid, leading to his demise. The source also said his (2 Baba) loyalists took his body away from the scene however the police are pursuing efforts to retrieve his body
