In response to the demonstration that happened in Minna, Niger State, Senator Shehu Sani has responded.

Reports state that while security personnel, including police officers, watched, the demonstrators—including women and young people—were heard singing protest songs.
The demonstrators claimed that the growing cost of food and inadequate government efforts to address the situation compelled them to block important roadways so that the government would hear their cries.
He disclosed that protests against the cost of living were also done in other European cities experiencing economic crises.
Shehu Sani stressed that the protest is simply a message and a call for fast and impactful measures to address the problems of the epidemic of poverty in the country. CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
