Security Guard Disclose How The Robbers Forced Their Way Into Uwem Udokwere's House And Killed Him

The story of how the armed robbers entered the home of the deceased retired army general Uwem Udokwere and killed him was told by a security guard. The incident occurred at approximately 3 a.m. when the robbers invaded the general’s home, leaving his family in shock.

According to a statement by the FCT Police Command’s spokesperson, Josephine Adeh, the Police Commissioner, Benneth Igweh, had ordered a thorough and discreet investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

According to the report by Premium Times on Monday, sources close to the family revealed that the retired general was stabbed while trying to protect his family.

According to the media report, the general, a father of two, was attacked when he came downstairs to investigate suspicious sounds and movements.

The house security guard, who spoke on condition of anonymity, witnessed the incident and described how three robbers tried to force their way into the compound.

He said the general was stabbed immediately after opening the door and attempting to confront the robbers.

The guard recalled, “I saw three of them, they were trying to open the door, and so he came down when he heard the sound of the door. He was stabbed when he came out.”

Meanwhile, the police have arrested the suspects that perpetrated the crime.

While parading the suspects on Monday, CP Benneth Igweh disclosed that two of the suspects were still at large.

He said that the suspects confessed to stabbing the late Army General with a knife when he tried to resist them from dispossessing him of his pistol.
