Oby Ndukwe, a political analyst and publisher based in Port Harcourt, has claimed that there is no proof connecting the Wike group’s peace walk with the explosion that occurred at the Presidential Hotel.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

She noted that the peace walk was led by the Speaker of the House, Honourable Martins Amaewhule, and that by noon, the participants had already dispersed and returned home. She argued that the peace walk took place in Obio Akpor Local Government while the Bomb Blast was detonated at the Presidential Hotel in Aba Road.

She said in an interview with Arise TV, ”I actually understand that it was a peace walk and not a protest. The protest had taken place in most of the local government areas by the Pro-Wike group and the Local Government Chairmen. But I think this one they had was for Obio Akpor Local government where the minister for FCT actually comes from.

The peace walk was led by the Speaker of the house, Martins Amaewhule and they addressed the crowd and the Journalist there. And I think before 12, they had already gotten home.
