Hon. Awaji-Inombek Abiante, a federal legislator and well-known PDP politician in Rivers State, has responded to rumors that Sim Fubara was “handpicked” to lead the state. Speaking on Channels TV, Abiante expressed support for Governor Fubara during a rally that was also attended by the federal constituency representative for Andoni, Opobo, and Nkoro. Addressing the topic, Hon. Awaji-Inombek Abiante said, “We have come to let the world know that Sim Fubara remains the governor of Rivers State. The governor earned our vote as he was not handpicked or just nominated. Several insinuations are out there that one man made Fubara governor, but that is not correct.
Channels TV also reports that a similar solidarity rally in support of Governor Fubara was held in Obio-Akpor Local Government Area.
You may recall that amid the political struggle in the state, the former governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, recently told his people that they will know who is in charge when the time comes. CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
To me, it’s very important to let the people of River State know some facts,
1. Former Governor Mr. Wike played with the talents of the people of River State because of his bad ambition, he controlled the people with the state funds to bought people in order to go against the presidential candidate of the People Democratic party Alh. Atiku in PDP, they manipulated an election PDP failed in the presidential election while APC won the election but in the state, PDP won in the State election as governor of River State by Similaya Fubara together with good leaders of the great PDP party.
2. Did Wike forgot that when he wanted to be a member among of political frontrunners in the State, he was nominated by some strongest leaders in the state before he became member of the storwarts, this the shame Wike had been spoken flabagasted to the present and past administration on about the leadership and the way they govern the country and with their respective state.
3. Moreso, when he (Wike) became the governor, who among the leaders could called on him to order apart from his state, when I was watching the channel TV one day, I saw where Wike was directed his speech to one of the King that he should stop “shaking the head” I was very looking stupid.
Finally, River people should never allow this man to have a controls of the government of the River State because he’s a mouth diarrhea and he has no longer political pedigree.
Finally, I wanted to urge leaders of the great party and members to join hands together to support present governor by uplifting the state more than the expectations.
