According to The Nation, George characterized Wike’s statements as inflammatory and damaging to democracy and national security.

He argued that Wike’s rhetoric could incite unrest and undermine peace in Nigeria.

Responding to George’s letter, Lloyd dismissed it as misleading, asserting that Wike’s comments were intended to protect Rivers State from external interference by other PDP governors.

Lloyd defended Wike’s use of hyperbole, stating it was a rhetorical device rather than a literal threat.

Okocha criticized George and the Rivers Elders Leadership Forum for allegedly siding with Wike’s opponents.

He questioned George’s motives and his involvement in PDP matters given his APC affiliation.

Okocha argued that George’s criticism was driven by ethnic and political biases rather than genuine concern for peace.

The escalating dispute highlights ongoing tensions within Rivers State politics, with conflicting viewpoints on Wike’s role and the broader implications for Nigerian democracy.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
