After replacing Aaron Ramsdale at Arsenal during the most recent summer transfer window, Raya has been a standout player. Although he is making an effort to stop shots, his ball distribution is excellent.
Arsenal’s defence has also protected him from conceding goals this season and this is why he has kept the most clean sheets. Raya’s season will be perfect if Arsenal wins the title at the end.
However, as gathered from CentreGoals on X, David Raya has won the 2023/2024 Premier League Golden Glove Award following Everton’s draw against Luton tonight. He has kept 14 clean sheets in 29 games and he is the first Arsenal goalkeeper to win the award since Petr Cech in the 2015/16 season.
