Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf noted that Mustapha Rabiu Kwankwaso, will head the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
Abba Kabir Yusuf, a chieftain of the New Nigeria Peoples Party is one of the most respected and revered politicians in the northern region of Nigeria.
He added; “Among the new commissioners, Mustapha Rabiu Kwankwaso, will head the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Abduljabbar Garko, will lead Land and Survey, Shehu Aliyu Yammedi, is the new Commissioner for Special Duties, and Adamu Aliyu Kibiya is the new Commissioner of Commerce, Trade, Investment and Industry. Also, for more effective service delivery, I inaugurated additional special advisers, members of the Kano State Independent Electoral Commission (KANSIEC), and members of the Kano State Assembly Service Commission.”
He stated further; “I urge the appointees to carry out their responsibilities diligently and with sense of accountability to contribute to the overall success of our administration. – AKY”
